Follow the places your pets love
The chair by the window, the stairs, and the sunny corner of the rug can tell you more about pet hair priorities than the total size of the house. Start a cleaning request with these high-use areas. Describe where hair is most noticeable and which rooms matter most to you.
There is no need to apologize for the animals who share your home. Their routines are useful planning information. A service scope can acknowledge those routines while focusing on the surfaces and rooms you want cared for.
Distinguish hair from fabric treatment
Removing accessible loose hair is a different request from extracting upholstery, treating a stain, or addressing a persistent odor. State each concern separately. Fabric construction, care instructions, and the condition of a surface affect which work is appropriate and what can reasonably be expected.
If a pet has a favorite delicate blanket, an antique chair, or an item that should not be moved, mention it. Do not assume a stronger treatment is automatically better. A useful quote makes any specialist treatment or excluded material clear before the visit.
Make a pet plan for the appointment
Explain whether pets will be present and how you plan to keep them comfortably separated from work areas and open doors. A friendly animal can still be startled by unfamiliar activity. The household should decide who is responsible for the pet during service rather than leave that question to arrival day.
Name doors that must remain closed and rooms that pets must not enter. If the planned arrangement changes, communicate that before the visit. Clear boundaries protect the workflow and reduce avoidable confusion around entry, equipment, and movement between rooms.
Keep expectations honest
A freshly cleaned home can begin collecting pet hair again as soon as everyday life resumes. The useful question is which tasks and intervals make the home comfortable for you. It is not whether a room can remain untouched by the animals who live in it.
Ordinary cleaning is not a promise of an allergen-free environment, medical benefit, complete odor removal, or removal of every embedded hair. If those concerns are central to your request, describe them clearly so suitability and limits can be discussed before a scope is accepted.
Build the routine around real life
You may prefer a focused first visit addressing stairs and common rooms, followed by a recurring plan for the areas used most. You might instead want help before guests arrive. Either approach should begin with the result you want and the materials involved.
Use the Partners in Grime service request form to tell us about your pets, the affected spaces, your priorities, and any product preferences. Each job is quoted individually. The aim is a home that feels cared for while remaining recognizably home to everyone who lives there.
